First new university clinical building in Russia
The Moscow Lomonossov University Medical Centre is the first interdisciplinary clinic for research and education to be re-erected in the Russian Federation after the collapse of the Soviet Union. Moscow’s Mayor and the President of Lomonossov University defined the target of this project as creating one of the most modern university clinical centres for research, education and high-performance medicine in Europe.

Once completed, the clinical centre will operate its own facility for cardiac, thorax and vascular surgery and a research laboratory for development of advanced cell therapy methods for clinical applications.
